Hey!
I’m Susan Woods Photography - but you can call me Suz.
I’ve been behind the camera for years, but becoming a parent really opened my eyes to what’s worth remembering; the real laughs, the little quirks, honest moments that people usually overlook. That’s what I love photographing; real life as it actually happens. Whether its couples, families or anyone celebrating something meaningful.
I’m all about being a decent human and keeping life simple; treat people well, be kind and skip the drama. Real over fake, honesty over pretense and laughter whenever possible. I want my sessions to feel relaxed, human and a little fun. That’s when the photos actually start to feel like you.
When I’m not taking photos, I’m at home in South West Sydney with my little family, drinking far too much tea, occasionally attempting to exercise and probably tripping over a toy someone left on the floor.
I love working with people who are laid back, don’t take themselves too seriously, love to laugh, embrace a bit of chaos and care more about enjoying the moment than doing everything ‘perfectly’.
